Word Art

I decided to do abortion. I drew a mother with her baby inside her womb. I used words like life, abortion, save, wanted, loved, mommy, and baby. I thought this was a neat and creative piece to do. Created in Art 1.

Scratch Boards

I decided to draw a Giraffe because they are cute and have very long necks! I kept the spots on the giraffe and just colored in the rest of its body. And on the side I drew a tree. Created in Art 1

Dream Catchers

I really like this piece. I used tin foil and created a flowered pattern on it. I then used blue and yellows string and hung brown and white feathers with light blue beads on it. Created in Art 1

Optical Illusion

In this piece I used green and pink sharpie. I really like this it looks like it is going down but it's really not. Created in Art 1

Tempera Painting

I used paint and created a beautiful outside scene. I wrote the word Beau in French which means beautiful. Created in Art 1

Outside Shading

To create this piece I took someones backyard and outlined it. I used how the sun was shining on the shed and the tree to create the shadowing effect. I used a pencil. Created in Art 1.

Face Shading

I wanted a picture that seemed dramatic. I used a pencil and created this using the shading techniques and the lighting. Created in Art 1.

Initials Box

I used the colors on the color wheel to create this piece. I used what I learned about shading and added it to the letters that I colored. I used colored pencils. Created in Art 1.

Clay Straightener

I made a straightener. I used many coats of a light pink for the main color and in the inside I painted the "hot part" tan. I wanted to make a straightener because it is something that I use daily. Created in Art 1.

Ink Art

I used ink and used a straw to spread it around. I combined colors and painted it on there. This is a fun and vibrant piece. Created in Art 1.

Shape/Pattern

For this piece I used markers and colored pencils and black construction paper. I used bright coors and fun patterns. I also did the opposites of each thing. Created in Art 1

Pastel Flower

In the piece I used chalk pastels. I wanted to try to make the center of the piece lighter then the outside edges. I used blue, yellow, green, and purple.
